ABOUT US

Open Space Brewing is a small craft brewery rooted in southwest New Mexico and inspired by trails, public lands, and the landscapes that surround us.

Founded by Continental Divide Trail thru-hikers and opened in Santa Clara in 2023, the brewery grew from a deep connection to the outdoors and a belief that beer can bring people together around the places we love. Our small batch beers take inspiration from the Gila, the CDT, local history, native plants, and life outside.

From the beginning, Open Space Brewing has been about more than beer. We support trail stewardship and conservation, collaborate with local organizations, and create space for music, art, outdoor recreation, and community.

A portion of our beer sales supports organizations and projects working to protect trails, public lands, rivers, and open spaces.

Open Space Brewing is located in the former Santa Clara National Guard Armory Building in Santa Clara, New Mexico, just a short 10 minute drive from Silver City. See directions here!
The taproom is open three days per week:
- Thursday 2-9 PM
- Friday 2-9 PM
- Saturday 12-9 PM
We love partnering with local food trucks and vendors to bring delicious eats to the brewery! We’re excited to host Fire & Ice Artisan Pizzas regularly on our patio—check our social media for their schedule and other food vendor updates.
