National Forest Week

Celebrate National Forest Week at Open Space Brewing

The National Forest Foundation (NFF), the official nonprofit partner of the U.S. Forest Service, proudly announces the 7th annual National Forest Week taking place June 9–15, 2025. This nationwide celebration invites all Americans to explore, appreciate, and support the 193 million acres of National Forests and Grasslands where we come alive.

As the NFF’s program of work expands across the New Mexico, we have exciting events planned in both Santa Fe and Silver City.

“National Forest Week celebrates the unmatched outdoor experiences found in our National Forests.  From hiking, biking, and hunting to fishing, paddling and camping, these 193 million acres offer something for everyone. This summer, we invite all Americans to get outside, explore their public lands, and join the National Forest Foundation in caring for them.” Dieter Fenkart-Froeschl, President & CEO, National Forest Foundation
