Forrest McCurren

Open Space Brewing presents Forrest McCurren on Thursday, March 14th, 6pm

Doors open at 4pm / Music starts at 6pm / $5 suggested donation

About Forrest:

Forrest McCurren comes from the heart of the heartland, where the foothills of the Ozarks meet the Big Muddy: The Middle-of-Missouri. Blazing his own trail while stylistically tipping his hat to the songwriting giants of the past, McCurren wields the magic of lyricism to cast a light on the many intricacies of everyday life set against vignettes of Middle America. Tackling topics such as: wise words from waitresses, heartbroken high school football standouts, and tattooed trailer park lovers, McCurren writes songs for good people that got bad grades in school, are drunk on dreams, and still trying to figure out if life is sour or sweet.

Santa Clara Mountain Bike Group Ride

We’re making this group ride a regular event! At least 2x a month! Thanks for your interest and coming out to ride!

This weekend’s ride will be on the intense yet shorter side at only 3 miles but we will work for it! This loop on the Cross Country Loop features a nice winding downhill all the way down to the creek-bed and then back up over the hill via the “Dragon’s Head” including the top-most loop and then back to the brewery. Hopefully this ride gets us more familiar with the Cross Country Loop and the connections to the Dragonfly Trail System.

Optional: try this loop for a 2nd lap, and in the opposite direction for more fun strength training!

Please find Alexa in the parking lot by 10:50am, as we RIDE @ 11am!! Join us on this ride and get $1 off your 1st pint of craft beer or non-alcoholic beverages! Ride on!

NM Wild Beer Release Party!

Let's cheers to 100 years of the Gila Wilderness and the future of the Gila River! Join us for a special event in partnership with NM Wild and Grant County's newest brewery, Open Space Brewing!

Event starts at 12:00pm with a special toast at 1pm!

Together, we're rallying community support for the Gila River’s Wild and Scenic designation through the creation of a unique brew, "Aldo’s Dream" – a Red IPA. This beer not only celebrates the Gila Wild and Scenic effort but also commemorates the centennial anniversary of the Gila Wilderness, the first designated Wilderness in America, established in 1924 at the urging of conservation pioneer Aldo Leopold.

Be a part of the celebration and toast to future protections at the release party starting at noon on Saturday, January 20, 2024, with a special toast at 1:00 pm. Enjoy live music by The Rockin Blue Geckos and delicious offerings from food vendors TGI Frybread and Big Tex BBQ Food Truck.

For every pint of “Aldo’s Dream” sold, one dollar will be donated to New Mexico Wild, supporting ongoing efforts to secure Wild and Scenic designation for the Gila River and its tributaries. Don't miss this fantastic blend of conservation, community, and craft beer!
